Well, I had my interview on Monday. It went swimmingly! I love love LOVE being a gamer! When they started asking me if I was a gamer, I kinda giggled and said yeah. Just a bit! What platforms do I own? Jeeze... 360, ps2, gamecube, Saturn, Dreamcast... lol. Just to name a couple. The guys were really nice! The lead game designer and I kept getting off on tangents talking about games and art and the producer had to keep reeling us back in and getting us on track. So I'd say that went really well! Now lets just see if they still want me after a few days. It also sounds like it'd be an internship with HIGH potential of getting hired afterwards. They just want to make sure that I am trainable and can do what they want me to do. I really liked the atmosphere there and everything that the producer said that he wanted really fit my personality. Being a self-starter. Finding things to do if you run out. Being able to say I'm done with something when I've spent enough time on it. To be able to get into animating so quickly after graduating would be such an amazing opportunity I can't even explain it! So now that I've been there, seen the place, met the people, I REALLY wanna work there. But it's still up to them to really figure out if I'd be a good match for the company. I wanna be there to help the company out not slow it down. So send me good vibes, prayers, and keep your fingers crossed for me that they want me. They still have a few others to interview...
